Outerlimits Powerboats marked a new chapter in South Florida with an exclusive launch event on October 22, 2026, at its new Fort Lauderdale dealership. The celebration brought together approximately 100 guests for an introduction to the brand's SC37 and SC46 high-performance catamarans.

Hosted by Wally Castro and Scot Conrad of CMC Boat Group, which recently acquired Outerlimits, the event welcomed members of Florida's boating community, customers, and industry figures. Among the attendees was British offshore racing legend Steve Curtis MBE, an eight-time Class 1 World Champion who played a role in developing the SC37.

The evening gave guests an opportunity to explore the boats firsthand, from their racing-inspired engineering to their custom interiors and finishes. The showcase highlighted Outerlimits' approach to combining performance with personalized design.

"Outerlimits has always been a brand I deeply admired, and becoming part of its future is the realization of a longtime dream," said Castro, co-owner of CMC Boat Group. He emphasized the company's commitment to preserving the brand's heritage while expanding its presence in Florida.

Founded in 1993, Outerlimits manufactures handcrafted V-bottom performance boats and catamarans, with a focus on engineering, customization, and individual ownership experiences.

With official dealerships now operating in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Outerlimits is expanding its accessibility to South Florida customers. Prospective owners can explore the models, discuss customization options, and receive manufacturer-backed warranty and service support.

The expansion marks the next phase for Outerlimits under CMC Boat Group, whose leadership also includes marine industry veteran Reinaldo Maykot.
