Technology has become an integral part of luxury travel, with guests expecting the same seamless convenience from their hotel stay that they experience in everyday life. Mobile check-in, digital room keys and on-demand services are quickly becoming the new standard as hotels look for new ways to enhance the overall travel experience.

At The Elser Hotel & Residences in Downtown Miami, technology simplifies nearly every step of the guest journey. Through a partnership with Innspire, the property has introduced The Elser App, allowing visitors to check in before arrival, access their rooms with a digital key and communicate with Elsy, the hotel’s virtual concierge, directly from their smartphones.

The app also allows guests to request housekeeping and bell service, monitor their folio in real time, browse hotel amenities, receive personalized offers and reserve personal training sessions through the property’s Fitness Lab Miami wellness program. The hotel plans to introduce mobile food and beverage ordering, allowing guests to order directly from the pool deck or their suites.

Behind the scenes, The Elser has paired these guest-facing features with technology designed to enhance safety and security. Recent upgrades include AI-powered surveillance systems, GPS-enabled security communications and upgraded emergency response tools.

Rather than replacing personalized hospitality, technology at The Elser is intended to remove common travel frustrations. As more hotels embrace digital innovation, properties like The Elser are demonstrating that smart technology works best when it complements attentive service, creating stays that feel effortless and personalized.
