Please note that the Houston Food Bank requires all volunteers to register with them in advance to receive their own QR code.
Use the provided link to register with the Houston Food Bank directly and be included with our group.
IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION
All volunteers must be at least 6 years old and supervised by a parent/guardian throughout the shift.
All volunteers under 18 also need a completed Youth Volunteer Consent Form signed by a parent or guardian. A copy of this form can be downloaded by clicking the RESOURCES tab on your Volunteer Profile page.
Clothing requirements: Closed-toe shoes are required. Bring work gloves if desired.
As we are limited to 29 sign-ups (20 adults, 9 children) for that date, kindly let us know if you have a last-minute change of plans and need to cancel your registration. This will allow us to open a spot for another ’Cane.
If the event has already reached 29 registrations, email us at houstoncanes@miami.edu, and we will let you know if we have additional spots available.
