Hispanic Heritage Celebration by Alhambra Orchestra

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Alhambra Orchestra kicks off their new season with a free performance of Spanish and Spanish-influenced masterpieces on Saturday, September 23 at Miami-Dade County Auditorium. Led by Conductor Daniel Andai, the orchestra will perform favorites such as Ravel’s Bolero, the Ritual Fire Dance from DeFalla’s El Amor Brujo, and Danzon No. 2 by Marquez, plus several popular Spanish songs. The orchestra will be joined by guest performers, the Doral Symphony Orchestra with singers Manuel Arvelaiz and Roque Cedeno.

The Alhambra Orchestra is Miami’s community orchestra, dedicated to promoting live classical performances and music education. This free event is presented in partnership with Miami-Dade County Auditorium as a service to the local community.

There will be a service fee of $0.75 per ticket when RSVPing online through Ticketmaster. RSVP in-person at the MDCA box office, open Monday-Friday at 9am-4pm, to avoid service fee charges. RSVPs are not required, but highly encouraged due to limited capacity.

PLEASE NOTE: Before attending, please review updated Health & Safety Measures for indoor performances at Miami-Dade County Auditorium. Bag checks may occur at the lobby doors before entry. Please allow yourself a bit of extra time while planning your trip.
