Hira Majeed’s Miami Art Week Exhibition Brought Color, Movement and Reflection to Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club

The Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club, Autograph Collection hosted the opening reception for multidisciplinary artist Hira Majeed during Miami Art Week, debuting an exhibition that remained open to the public through Dec. 7. Guests were given an intimate first look at the collection, with Majeed present to discuss the themes, influences, and processes behind her work.

During the event, Majeed unveiled “Serenity,” a life-size Cadillac F1 car sculpture painted on-site using color-shift paint that changed with the light. The finished piece was displayed on the hotel’s front porch facing Collins Avenue.

The exhibition occupied the Riviera and Riviera Terrace spaces, presenting new and award-winning works that examined transformation through stillness, along with recurring themes of love and loss. Pieces on view included “Shibui,” a previously unseen textured landscape inspired by the Japanese concept of understated beauty; “Meltdown of the Heart and Mind”; “Protect Your Heart”; and “Business Development Prodigy the Robot,” a gold-illuminated humanoid robot that spoke and moved while reflecting on the relationship between humanity and artificial intelligence.
