Heesen Yachts has introduced Sophia, a 50-meter fast-cruising yacht designed for performance and efficiency within the sub-500 GT category.

Built in aluminum and powered by low-emission engines, Sophia complies with IMO Tier III regulations, marking a step forward in environmentally conscious yacht design. The exterior, created by Omega Architects, features curved lines and a streamlined profile that supports both speed and stability.

The yacht’s optimized hull reduces drag and allows for a shallow draft, making it suitable for both open waters and coastal cruising. Design elements such as a downward-pointing bow improve visibility from the bridge while reinforcing its elongated shape.

Onboard, Sophia accommodates up to 12 guests across five staterooms. The interior, designed by Cristiano Gatto, focuses on functional layouts and natural light. Outdoor areas include a beach club, sun deck, and multiple dining spaces, offering flexibility for both relaxation and entertainment.

Additional features include an elevated aft deck and a multi-purpose tender garage integrated into the lower level, maximizing usable space without altering the yacht’s proportions.
