Healing with Art and Music to Host Philharmonic and Opera Fashion Gala at The Moore
Healing with Art and Music will host a live philharmonic and opera concert fashion show on May 1, 2026 at The Moore in Miami’s Design District. The event brings together fashion, music, and philanthropy to support organizations focused on healing through creative expression.
The evening will feature a runway presentation alongside live performances from musicians affiliated with the Florida Philharmonic, Florida Grand Opera, and Area Stage. The format combines a traditional fashion show with orchestral and operatic elements.
The program will take place at The Moore, a landmark venue in the Design District. Inspired by Saint Cecilia, the patron saint of music, the evening will incorporate classical and contemporary influences.
Proceeds from the gala will support three organizations. Area Stage provides inclusive theater programs for children with autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental differences. Florida Grand Opera works to expand access to music education in underserved communities. Barry University’s Health, Arts and Spirituality Program integrates creative and spiritual practices into healthcare and community support.
The runway will feature collections from designers including PatBO, Chernaya Bridal House, and Gipcco. Additional designers are expected to participate. The presentations align with the event’s focus on using art and design to support community impact.
The program also reflects on Miami’s classical music history. The Florida Philharmonic Orchestra ceased operations in 2003. Since then, organizations such as the Miami Symphony Orchestra and the New World Symphony have continued to shape the local music landscape. The May 1 event builds on that legacy by connecting performance with community impact.
Healing with Art and Music was founded by Claudia Domo. The initiative supports organizations that use art and music to improve well-being across communities.
