A boundary-pushing new British label made its mark on American shores as HartiSWIM made its U.S. debut at Miami Swim Week The Shows on May 31 as one of the weeks most sought after tickets.

Fierce, artistic, and unapologetically sustainable, HartiSWIM is the luxury swimwear brand redefining eco-fashion through bold original pop-art design and a fearless sense of style. Helmed by UK fashion entrepreneur and creative director Tessa Hartmann CBE, the brand blends high-fashion aesthetics with deep environmental values - each swimsuit is made from certified fabric crafted using 13.1 recycled ocean plastic bottles.
Known in the UK for her long-standing fashion industry influence, and her high-glamour appearance on The Real Housewives of Jersey, Tessa brings decades of experience in branding and storytelling to a label that’s far more than a celebrity name. HartiSWIM is a family-run creative collective, fusing fashion, art, and music to create a new kind of swimwear movement, one rooted in community, activism, and attitude.
The brand’s striking visual identity comes from Tessa’s husband, Harti (Sascha Hartmann), a former composer whose satirical pop art has been exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery in London, as well as in Edinburgh and Venice. His work forms the core aesthetic of HartiSWIM’s signature prints. True to the brand’s interdisciplinary ethos, Harti has also composed a bespoke soundtrack for the Miami runway show, launched on Spotify on May 30.

Capping off the show in Miami will be an exclusive live performance by rising UK music star Tallia Storm, daughter of Tessa and Harti, who was famously discovered by Sir Elton John and now boasts nearly 800,000 Instagram followers.
“This is swimwear with something to say,” says Tessa. “The HartiGirl is fierce, independent, and not afraid to dine alone poolside. She doesn’t ask for space - she takes it. That’s the energy we’re bringing to Miami.”
With its rallying cry - “For sirens, not sidekicks” - HartiSWIM has already begun to disrupt the European swimwear market. Now, the brand is ready to make waves across the U.S., bringing a bold new voice to the conversation around sustainability, fashion, and cultural expression.
