Halloween in Miami 2026: Price, Scare Level and Location
Halloween in Miami 2026 brings a change of address for House of Horror Haunted Carnival, now at Tropical Park, and a useful question for anyone comparing it with The Horrorland at Jungle Island: what does the ticket actually cover? Both advertise general admission starting around $40, but parking, repeat entries and rides make a difference to the evening’s cost.

For readers considering a trip farther north, Fright Nights at the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach offers another format: admission with credits to spend on haunted houses and rides.
The Comparison at a Glance
Scare descriptions reflect organizers’ published effects and age guidance, not firsthand ratings or a standardized scale.
Attraction | Advertised admission | Parking | Scare profile | Location |
House of Horror Haunted Carnival | From $39.99 online; prices vary by night | Included | Intense main haunts, recommended for ages 16+; separate low-scare family area
The Horrorland | From $39.99, excluding tax | $20 | High intensity: close-range actors, confined passages, fog and strobe lighting
Fright Nights | $38.50 advance through October 7; $48.50 online from October 8 | $10 per vehicle, card only | Haunted houses not recommended for children under 12 |
These are advertised rates, not a single comparable checkout total. Horrorland excludes tax, and Miami’s tourism bureau lists House of Horror’s starting price with additional charges indicated. Fright Nights labels its published admission rates as all-in pricing.
House of Horror: A New Location and a Family Option

House of Horror Haunted Carnival runs September 24 through November 1 at Tropical Park, replacing its previous Miami International Mall location. Admission includes unlimited haunted-attraction visits, unlimited carnival rides and parking. Food and drinks cost extra.
The new House of Little Horrors provides a lower-scare alternative with children’s rides, a maze and photo opportunities. That makes the event an option for groups with different tolerances for horror, although the operator recommends the main haunted attractions for guests 16 and older.
Hours are 6 to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday. The two announced closure dates, September 28 and October 5, have passed.
The Horrorland: Close-Range Scares at Jungle Island

The Horrorland lists its Halloween season from September 10 through November 1, with Thursday-through-Sunday hours of 7 to 10 p.m., subject to change.
Its published warnings describe actors approaching within inches, startling sound, tight corridors, fog and strobes. The operator prohibits actors from touching guests. These features place it toward the intense end of this guide’s descriptive scale.
General admission includes one entry to each haunted attraction, along with scare zones and live shows. Fast Pass starts at $69.99 and adds priority access and unlimited attraction entries. Food and drinks are separate purchases.
The ticket page recommends ages 13 and older, while the FAQ recommends 16 and older for the full experience. Families should confirm admission requirements directly before booking for younger children.
Fright Nights: A West Palm Beach Alternative

Fright Nights is scheduled for October 8–10, 15–17, 22–24, 29 and 30. Its three haunted houses use a credit system: admission comes with 40 Fright Credits, with each house costing 10 credits and each ride costing five.
That allocation covers one visit to each house plus two rides. It does not provide unlimited access, and the organizer cautions that waiting times can prevent guests from completing every haunt.
The midway opens at 6 p.m.; haunted houses open at 7 p.m. Closing is 11 p.m. Thursday and midnight Friday and Saturday. Advance admission remains $38.50 through October 7. The official ticket page also offers two Thursday admissions for $48.50, purchased ahead of time online; the offer is unavailable at the gate or on Thursdays after the season opens.
