Gulfstream G800: World’s Longest-Range Business Aircraft

Gulfstrem’s introduces the G800 business jet – its longest range aircraft in its more than 60-year history. Estimated to cost $71.5 million, the G800 is powered by a Rolls-Royce Pearl turbofan and has a maximum range of 9,206 nautical miles at a speed of Mach 0.85. The modern-design cabin can be configured for up to four living areas with large oval windows and can accommodate up to 19 passengers and sleep up to 10.

Other notable features include a new plasma ionization system for cleaner air and advanced avionics features, including an active control stick - an industry first - that enhances nonverbal communication between pilots through tactile cues. Ten touchscreen displays - the largest deployment in business aviation - work in sync with phase-of-flight intelligence to reduce the number of switches in the cockpit.
