Gucci & the Saltzman Family Host he Second Annual Summer Celebration
Guests entered the party through a whimsical, mazelike tunnel before entering the Summer Celebration where they were greeted with various lawn games. Attendees enjoyed local fare from Amber Waves Farm, Loaves and Fishes, and Carvel, and summer-themed cocktails featuring Codigo 1530 and local wine from Wölffer. The event featured DJ sets by Mark Ronson and Kitty Cash with guests dancing on a “G” covered dance floor. Guests ended the evening dancing through a surprise silent disco.
As part of the Summer Celebration, Gucci will contribute funding to three key nonprofit partners focusing on the issue of food insecurities. Gucci will support Long Island Cares, The Harry Chapin Food Bank, which works to distribute more than ten million pounds of food and supplies annually to Nassau and Suffolk Counties. In the immediate area surrounding the store, Gucci will contribute specific funding to the East Hampton Food Pantry and donate funds to Amber Waves Farm. Funding to Amber Waves Farm will support the distribution of fresh, healthy food to local pantries and create education programs for the community to aid children in a more food sufficient future.
The East Hampton store recently launched the exclusive Gucci Resort Collection featuring a selection of unique items from the world’s top travel destinations, including the Hamptons. The collection is reimagined in GG monogram with a zig-zag-patterned background and vibrant color combinations unique to the specific havens where they are exclusively sold.
