Gucci Dresses Celebs for the Tenth Annual LACMA Art+Film Gala

Gucci was the presenter of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s (LACMA) tenth annual Art+Film Gala. Co-chaired by LACMA Trustee Eva Chow and actor Leonardo DiCaprio, the evening honored artists Amy Sherald and Kehinde Wiley and filmmaker Steven Spielberg.

Guests also enjoyed a special performance by Celeste with surprise guest Florence Welch and a DJ set by D-Nice.

Proceeds from the annual Art+Film Gala go toward underwriting LACMA’s initiative to make film more central to the museum’s curatorial programming, while also funding LACMA’s broader mission. This includes exhibitions, acquisitions, and educational programming that explore the intersection of art and film. On the occasion of its 100th anniversary, Gucci continues its invaluable partnership with the museum as the presenting sponsor of the annual event.

The menu for this year’s gala dinner will be prepared by 2021 Michelin Star Award Winning Chef Mattia Agazzi of Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura Beverly Hills. This year’s whimsical color palette was inspired by the juxtaposition seen throughout the Gucci world, featuring rich jewel tones and dusty pastels, as well as special details like Gucci herbarium printed napkins.
