Gucci Celebrates Festive Season with Enchanted Snow Globe Installation And Star-Studded Event in Miami Design District

Gucci unveiled a captivating holiday installation at Sweet Bird North Plaza in Miami’s Design District yesterday, attracting a distinguished crowd of tastemakers, artists, and industry leaders from fashion, art, and entertainment. The installation, inspired by enchanted snow globes, celebrates Gucci's rich heritage and storytelling, offering a festive experience that intertwines the House’s historical motifs with its travel-inspired narrative.

The display, situated between Gucci’s two boutiques in the Miami Design District, will remain open to the public through January 7, 2025. Visitors can enjoy complimentary seasonal offerings, including ice cream from local favorite Peel and Italian baked goods and coffee from Rosetta Bakery, available during select periods. Weekend activities will include coloring sessions for children, further enhancing the family-friendly atmosphere.

The celebration also features a collaboration with American artist Corydon Cowansage, whose biomorphic-inspired murals adorn the plaza and Gucci’s women’s boutique. The vibrant and flowing designs reflect the artist's style and her concurrent participation in Miami Art Basel, beginning December 4.

Last night, the plaza was transformed into a private party where guests, including Venus Williams, Yara Shahidi, Alessandra Ambrosio, Eiza Gonzalez, and Mickalene Thomas, enjoyed DJ sets by Tiffy Vera and Carlita, along with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. The evening concluded with an intimate dinner at Mother Wolf.

Key attendees included Gucci Deputy CEO Stefano Cantino, Kering Deputy CEO Francesca Bellettini, Cathy Vedovi, Craig Robins, Brendan Fallis, Karolina Kurkova, and Jon George of Rüfüs Du Sol, among others.

This enchanting holiday installation and accompanying festivities underscore Gucci's continued commitment to blending artistic innovation with community celebration. Discover more at gucci.com.
