Greater Miami and Miami Beach have once again taken center stage in the culinary world, earning 16 Michelin stars, more than any other destination in Florida. With the release of the 2025 Michelin Guide’s Florida selections, the region continues to gain momentum as one of the most exciting food destinations in the country.

“What’s happening in Miami’s kitchens today is nothing short of extraordinary,” said David Whitaker, president and CEO of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Gastronomic excellence has become one of the strongest drivers of tourism for our community, drawing visitors from around the world who come to experience our acclaimed restaurants and celebrated chefs. These Michelin honors are a powerful validation of our destination’s growing influence in the global culinary landscape.”
Michelin star highlights include Itamae AO, which earned its first star, and L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, which retained its two-star rating, reaffirming its place among the nation’s elite.
In addition, four restaurants—Krüs Kitchen, Los Félix, EntreNos and Stubborn Seed—earned Green Stars for their commitment to sustainability.
Individual talent was also celebrated, with Jacqueline Pirolo of Macchialina receiving the Michelin Sommelier Award and Juan Camilo Liscano of Palma honored with the Michelin Young Chef Award, representing Miami’s next culinary generation. Meanwhile, 14 restaurants retained their Bib Gourmand distinction for delivering outstanding meals at great value, and nine newcomers were added to the Michelin-recommended list—further proof that excellence in Miami’s food scene is only growing.
From luxury tasting menus to innovative, sustainability-driven kitchens, Greater Miami and Miami Beach are leading the way as a culinary powerhouse. With global recognition and unmatched talent, the destination continues to rise one plate at a time.
