The season crescendos with Miami Art Week from December 1 to 7, anchored by the globally acclaimed Art Basel Miami Beach. Since its splashy arrival in 2002, Art Basel has helped position Miami as a cultural capital, attracting the world’s top collectors, artists and curators. Yet Art Week is just the tip of the creative iceberg. Satellite fairs, gallery exhibitions, public installations and stellar street happenings transform the entire city into a sprawling celebration of human expression. It’s a week that pulses with imagination and sets the stage for a season brimming with bold ideas and artistic adventure.
Miami City Ballet.
This fall, milestone anniversaries and new launches take center stage. Miami City Ballet pirouettes into its 40th season, the Adrienne Arsht Center commemorates two decades of transformative performances and the Actors’ Playhouse celebrates 30 years of storytelling at the Miracle Theatre.
Art Deco Alive! Symposium.
Meanwhile, Art Deco Alive! makes its dazzling debut October 8 through 12, exploring the global connection between Miami Beach and Mumbai as part of the 100th anniversary of Art Deco. This cross-continental celebration invites visitors to step into history while dancing through the present.
