The Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida will present Invincible on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 8 p.m. at the Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The Pride concert brings together music, remembrance and community in a program centered on survival, joy and the continued strength of LGBTQ+ voices.

At the center of the evening is the world premiere of Amor Eterno: A Requiem for Pulse, a newly commissioned work honoring the 49 lives lost at Pulse Nightclub on the 10th anniversary of the tragedy. The piece was composed by Saunder Choi, an award-winning composer, conductor and vocalist whose work often explores identity, memory and community through choral music.

Choi’s music has been performed by ensembles across the United States and abroad, with commissions and performances spanning professional choirs, universities and community ensembles. For Invincible, his work brings a central note of reflection, remembrance and tribute to the evening.

The concert also features Luke Frazier, a conductor, arranger and founder of the American Pops Orchestra. Frazier is known for building programs that connect classical, popular and theatrical music, often bringing familiar songs into new concert settings. His involvement adds another layer to a program designed to move between solemn remembrance and collective celebration.

Together, Amor Eterno and the broader Invincible program reflect the chorus’ mission to use music as a platform for visibility and connection. The concert looks back at lives lost and communities affected by violence, while also focusing on the generations of LGBTQ+ people who have continued to live openly, build community and create spaces of joy.

For Invincible, GMCSF will be joined by the Orlando Gay Chorus, the Gay Men’s Chorus of Tampa Bay, Miami Gay Chorus and musicians from Symphony of the Americas. Together, more than 200 voices will take the stage in a program that combines choral music, dance and spoken word.

The second half of the concert features anthems of resilience and Pride, including Katy Perry’s “Roar,” “Stand Up,” “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” and the title song “Invincible,” made famous by Kelly Clarkson. Together, they help shape the evening into a declaration that LGBTQ+ voices cannot be silenced.

The Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida has become one of the region’s leading cultural organizations, using music, advocacy and community storytelling to create visibility and connection throughout South Florida. With Invincible, the chorus continues that work through a concert that honors the past while celebrating survival, visibility and joy.

The concert will take place at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale. Tickets and additional information are available through the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida.
