G-STAR Launches “Anatomic Denim” Collection with Campaign & Art Installation

G-STAR has introduced Anatomic Denim, a new initiative combining product design, campaign imagery, and art, now available in Miami at the brand’s Aventura Mall store. The project builds on the company’s legacy of anatomically inspired denim, first established with the G-STAR Elwood in 1996.


The launch has three components: a denim collection, a campaign directed by Jordan Hemingway, and a large-scale art installation by Darwin, Sinke & van Tongeren.


The Campaign


Directed and photographed by Jordan Hemingway, the campaign highlights athletes from gymnastics, pole dancing, cycling, and calisthenics—shown without their usual equipment to emphasize natural body movement. The athletes wear denim constructed to follow and support motion.

The Collection


The Anatomic Denim line introduces three key designs:

  • The Contor – a futuristic evolution of the Arc with architectural lines.

  • The Kitoh – denim with engineered seams that trace the body’s musculature.

  • The G-STAR Elwood – the original 1996 design reimagined for 2025 with anatomical tailoring.


Retail prices range from $170 to $370.


The Art


The project also includes The Denim Gorilla, a 3.5-meter sculpture made entirely of denim. Created by artists Darwin, Sinke & van Tongeren, the piece has been showcased at Amsterdam Fashion Week and CIFF Copenhagen and is currently on display at the Art Zoo Museum in Amsterdam.

The Anatomic Denim collection is available starting September 23, 2025, at select retailers, online at www.g-star.com, and locally at G-STAR RAW, Aventura Mall, 19501 Biscayne Blvd, Aventura, FL 33180.
