The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Miami will host a two-week Winter Camp from December 21 to 31, offering STEM-focused programs for children ages 5 to 11 and a Curator-in-Training track for teens ages 12 to 15.

Winter Camp participants will conduct hands-on experiments, meet scientists, explore museum exhibitions and visit the Frost Planetarium.

Week one, Epic Earth, runs December 21 to 24 and focuses on aquatic biomes, tropical rainforests, deserts and tundra, with experiments on climate, biodiversity, plants and animals, plus visits to the Frost Science Aquarium.

Week two, Space Quest, runs December 28 to 31 and introduces campers to rocket launches, lunar phases and craters, and astronaut training, supported by space-themed challenges and sessions in the Frost Planetarium.

The Curator-in-Training Winter Camp for ages 12 to 15 offers teens the opportunity to work alongside museum mentors, meet scientists and earn community service hours.

Frost Science Members receive discounted Winter Camp registration. Register online and learn more about membership benefits.
