Frost Science Museum to Host Free Family Fun Festival in Knight Plaza

The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science will host its Family Fun Festival on Saturday, January 31, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. The free event takes place at the outdoor Knight Plaza and features interactive science activities, community partners, and live entertainment.

Science and Entertainment Programming
The festival offers a range of hands-on educational experiences and cultural performances at no cost for attendance:
Live Shows: Frost Science educators will lead interactive science demonstrations and engaging experiments throughout the day.
Performances: The event includes live music and artistic appearances by Junkanoo, Mr. J Jams, the Frost School of Music Jazz Quartet, and Miami City Ballet.
Community Hub: Over 25 local organizations will provide games, activities, and giveaways to connect families with regional resources.

Admission and RSVP Details
While the outdoor festival is free to the public, museum gallery admission is not included:
Discounted Access: Guests who RSVP online in advance can purchase museum admission for a discounted rate of $20 on the day of the event.
Dining: Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Constellation Culinary Group.

Logistics and Support
Onsite parking is expected to be limited, and visitors are encouraged to use public transportation or rideshare services. The festival is sponsored by Florida Prepaid College Plans, Nicklaus Children’s Health System, and the City of Miami Arts and Entertainment Council.
