Frost Science Hosts nightLAB: Forces of Nature With Discounted Tickets Through March 26
The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Miami will host nightLAB: Forces of Nature, an adults-only evening event on Thursday, April 2, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The program explores the mechanics of wind, waves, storms and motion through hands-on experiments, themed activities and after-dark access to museum exhibitions.
Highlights of the event include an Expert on Call session with NOAA’s Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory, shake table demonstrations with Florida International University, extreme weather experiments and sea level science activations. The Frost Planetarium will feature the film Wildest Weather in Our Solar System with multiple showtimes during the evening, and attendees will have a final opportunity to experience the exhibition Leonardo da Vinci – 500 Years of Genius before it closes on April 5.
Discounted tickets are available for $29.95 through Thursday, March 26, after which the nightLAB admission rate on April 2 will be $34.95. Frost Science members can purchase up to four tickets at $15.00 per person. Tickets and schedule details are available on the event page.
