Frost Science Hosts Laser Evening Featuring ABBA, Lady Gaga and Queen on June 12
The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Miami will host a Laser Evening in the Frost Planetarium on Friday, June 12, featuring music from several major pop and rock acts.
The event will present laser light shows set to songs by ABBA, Lady Gaga and Queen, along with a new Laser Pride program, inside the planetarium’s 67-foot dome. Attendees can purchase tickets online ahead of the show.
Admission is priced at $15 per adult and $12 per child ages 4 to 11. Museum members receive a 20% discount on all Laser Evening shows when logged in to their member account.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early to purchase refreshments and light snacks in the Main Atrium, available until 10:00 p.m. Onsite parking is offered in the museum garage for a flat rate of $8 starting at 6:00 p.m., with all vehicles required to exit by 12:00 a.m. Each Laser Evening show requires a separate ticket, online sales close one hour before showtime and onsite purchases are available up to 15 minutes before each show.
Laser show admission includes laser glasses but does not include museum admission, and museum exhibitions close at 6:00 p.m. Organizers note that laser shows contain bright, flashing lights that may affect visitors with light sensitivity or certain medical conditions.
