Frost Science Hosts Earth Day 2026 Celebration on April 25
The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Miami will mark Earth Day 2026 with a full day of public programming on Saturday, April 25, highlighting environmental stewardship and community engagement.
Guided by the global theme Our Power, Our Planet, the museum will connect visitors with scientists, universities, and community organizations through hands-on activities that examine environmental forces shaping the planet and the choices influencing its future.
From 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., guests can explore topics such as transforming food scraps and glass bottles into sustainable resources, restoring mangroves, and investigating biodiversity, along with activities led by the Museum Volunteers for the Environment team and Upward Bound Math and Science students.
The schedule includes a 1:00 p.m. performance in the Atrium by the Cateura Recycled Orchestra, an ensemble of young musicians from Paraguay who perform on instruments made entirely from recycled materials.
Event partners include Cateura Recycled Orchestra, Compost For Life, Glass for Life, the Meteorology Club at FIU, and GEN2050.
