Frost Science Announces Spring Break Hours and Da Vinci Exhibition Closing Date
The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Miami will offer extended operating hours during Spring Break, alongside special programming and food offerings for visitors.
As part of a spring break schedule, the museum will remain open until 6:00 p.m. daily from Monday, March 23, through Sunday, March 29, giving guests additional time to explore its exhibitions, Aquarium and Frost Planetarium.
Visitors can take part in a live Science Showdown stage presentation featuring trivia questions that lead to a group chemical reaction experiment on the Ocean Gallery stage in the museum’s Power of Science exhibition. Throughout the week, Constellation Culinary Group will also host a Food@Science pop up with items such as cotton candy and shaved ice.
The museum is also entering the final weeks of Leonardo da Vinci – 500 Years of Genius, which closes on Sunday, April 5. The immersive exhibition features interactive displays, replicas of Leonardo’s machines and inventions, and projections of his artworks, including the Mona Lisa Revealed component that presents a 360 degree replica of the painting.
