The exhibition, titled ‘Bamboo 1947: Then and Now – Celebrating 60 Years of Gucci in Japan,’ is happening at the Gucci Ginza Gallery in Tokyo until September 23rd. It showcases the evolution of the iconic Bamboo 1947 bag, a masterpiece originally crafted by Guccio Gucci and his Florentine artisans. The bag’s bamboo handles have become a lasting symbol of Gucci’s innovation and craftsmanship, reimagined by each creative director over the years.
