On February 21, GOLDLAW and Who We Play For (WWPF) came together at the Westgate Parks and Recreation Center in West Palm Beach to host a free youth heart screening event in honor of American HeartMonth. The turnout was a true testament to the community's commitment to protecting its youngest members.
Youth ages 10 to 25 received free electrocardiogram (ECG) screenings administered by the Who We Play For team, with each screening taking just five minutes. Paramedics from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue were on site to educate families on CPR and AED use. CPR/AED trainers from Every Second Counts CPR were also in attendance to reinforce the event's powerful message that anyone can save a life.
GOLDLAW also donated an AED through a raffle which was presented to the organization by Craig M. Goldenfarb, Esq., CEO and founder of GOLDLAW. Attendees also enjoyed free sweet treats from GOLDLAW’s beloved Sweet Justice Ice Cream Truck.

Craig M. Goldenfarb, Esq., CEO and founder of GOLDLAW, and Stacy Cartechine, Heart Screening Director from Who We Play For, engaged with attendees throughout the event, sharing the critical importance of early cardiac detection in youth.
With 1 in 300 youth having a detectable heart condition and 80% showing no symptoms prior to sudden cardiac arrest, events like this one are nothing short of lifesaving.
