Four Seasons Resort Maui Announces Camp Manitou Seasonal Adventure Experience

Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea welcomes winter travelers with the debut of Camp Manitou—a seasonal adventure camp for children ages 9 through 17 featuring an array of explorative activities aimed at connecting the resort’s young guests to the remarkable destination and each other. The well-known summer camp, founded in Maine in 1947, will host two sessions for kids at the award-winning resort: during the Festive Season from December 19 through 31, 2022, and again for Spring Break from April 1 through 14, 2023.

The adventure camp will feature daily activities that encourage campers to explore the Resort and Maui through exciting programming. Memorable off-properties activities include visiting secret beaches; bodyboarding; surfing; sightseeing at Maui’s famed Hoՙokipa Beach Park known for pro windsurfing and kiteboarding; and even sunset and stargazing adventures.

“We pride ourselves on providing meaningful and memorable experiences for guests of all ages,” says Four Seasons Resort Maui General Manager Ben Shank. “The collaboration with Camp Manitou, who are such renowned experts in outdoor adventure for kids and teens, will allow us to provide a dynamic and well-rounded holiday for everyone in the family.”

Through the new Camp Manitou program, Four Seasons Resort Maui guests can also book customized private adventure days for the entire family to explore Maui, with a highly engaged staff leading the family from a local-style breakfast to various off-site outings to the island’s best beaches and activities, lunch at famous local food trucks, and family surf lessons to hiking trips along the Waiheՙe Ridge Trail.

Camp Manitou joins the Resort’s robust children’s year-round programming, which also includes complimentary Kids for All Seasons day camp geared toward ages 5 to 12 years old, as well as a long list of family-friendly activities and amenities, all without a resort fee.

Reservations for Camp Manitou are required and can be made online here. The cost is $225 per child per day. For more information, contact the concierge at concierge.maui@fourseasons.com or (808) 874-8000.
