Fontainebleau Miami Beach to Undergo Major Redevelopment, Adding Family-Friendly Water Attractions

Fontainebleau Development is launching a transformative redevelopment of the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach resort, with plans to reimagine its outdoor pool deck as a premier, family-friendly destination. The ambitious project, set to begin in early 2026, will introduce all-new pools, water slides, interactive family attractions, enhanced food and beverage options, and upgraded poolside entertainment—all designed to complement the resort’s signature luxury experience.

“This is a milestone moment for Fontainebleau Miami Beach and our vision for what a modern resort destination can be,” said Jeffrey Soffer, chairman and CEO of Fontainebleau Development. “With the addition of these new attractions and amenities, we are creating a fully integrated, large-scale family-focused experience unlike any other in the region.”
The redevelopment will also expand the resort’s culinary offerings with upgrades to La Côte Restaurant and three signature bars. Upon completion, the resort aims to set a new standard for luxury family travel in South Florida.
In addition to enhancing guest experience, the expansion is expected to provide a major boost to the local economy. The project will create hundreds of jobs in construction, hospitality, and operations, from lifeguards and guest services to food and beverage staff.
