Fogo de Chão Opens Brand New Fort Lauderdale Destination
Cheers for churrasco! Fogo de Chão, the internationally renowned Brazilian steakhouse that allows guests to make culinary discoveries at every turn, is debuting its fifth Florida location in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, August 19. The restaurant brand's latest debut is positioned at the corner of Southeast Third Avenue and Las Olas Boulevard at The Main Las Olas, marking its introduction to the Las Olas community.
Fogo de Chão Las Olas hopes to share its Brazilian roots with a new audience that's guaranteed to enjoy a one-of-a-kind dining experience. From elegant chandeliers to rich furnishings, to dry-aged meat lockers and soaring display cases of the finest South American wine, the Las Olas spot creates a timeless yet modern atmosphere for delighting in the culinary art of churrasco.
Centered in the heart of the dining room, guests can watch expert guacho chefs butcher, prepare and grill various cuts of protein seasoned to perfection over an open flame. Meats include everything from premium Wagyu to fresh seafood. Once delicately fire-roasted, selections are carved and delivered tableside to make one interactive and unforgettable dine.
Those looking to host a meeting or celebratory event can rent one of Fogo's private dining spaces, ideal for any intimate gathering looking to enjoy a refined and delicious setting. The newest location also includes a large, covered outdoor patio and bar for alfresco dining, and each weekend, Bar Fogo offers All Day Happy Hour featuring discounted beers, South American wines and Brazilian-inspired cocktails.
The Fort Lauderdale location expects to bring 120 jobs to the area. The team will be led by General Manager Wanderson Oliveira, a Brazilian native who started his career with Fogo over 15 years ago as a server in Philadelphia. Since then, he has worked in various roles, most recently as General Manager at Fogo locations in Atlanta and Miami Beach.
