Florida Has Become a Top Market for Wellness Events, and Lifeway Is Becoming Part of the Experience

Florida’s wellness scene is having a moment.
Across Miami, Palm Beach and other Florida communities, the traditional social calendar is expanding. Alongside dinners, nightlife and entertainment, people are increasingly choosing experiences built around fitness, nutrition, recovery, mindfulness, beauty and longevity.
And the format keeps getting more interesting.
Pilates and yoga are moving onto yachts and beaches. Cold plunges are becoming social gatherings. Influencers are hosting intimate wellness experiences for their communities. Sound healing is being paired with live music. Zero proof bars are creating new spaces for socializing. Pop ups bring together fitness, beauty, food and recovery, while major conferences are drawing thousands of people interested in longevity and the future of health.
According to the Global Wellness Institute, the U.S. wellness economy reached $2.1 trillion in 2024, growing at an annual rate of 7.9% between 2019 and 2024.
Florida is becoming one of the places where that enormous economic and cultural shift can be experienced firsthand.
For Lifeway Foods, the evolution feels familiar.
Since 1986, Lifeway has been nourishing families and bringing communities together. Today, the places where those connections happen have expanded, and Lifeway is increasingly present within Florida’s growing wellness culture, supporting the founders, creators and visionaries who are finding new ways to inspire people to live well.
Wellist Week: Creating an Art Basel of Wellness
Miami’s Wellist Week may be one of the clearest examples of what is happening.
Rather than concentrating wellness inside a single convention hall, Wellist turned Miami into part of the experience, connecting programming and satellite events across fitness, recovery, hospitality, beauty and mindful living.
It is an ambitious concept that has the potential to become an “Art Basel of Wellness,” where the excitement comes not only from one main event but from the network of experiences, people and conversations happening around it.
Lifeway joined the Wellist community in 2026 and looks forward to being part of its continued growth in 2027.

Miami Swim Week: When Fashion Meets Wellness
Miami Swim Week demonstrates how wellness is moving into established lifestyle experiences.
Fashion and swimwear remain at its heart, but the surrounding programming increasingly incorporates fitness, beauty, recovery, nutrition, biohacking and wellness activations.
Lifeway returned in 2026 to collaborate with designers, creators, biohackers and wellness partners, becoming part of an environment where conversations about looking good increasingly coexist with conversations about feeling good.
It is another sign that wellness no longer needs its own room. It can live naturally within fashion, beauty, travel, entertainment and culture.

Wellness Without a Conference Badge
Some of Florida’s most interesting wellness experiences do not look like conferences at all.
They might begin with a yoga mat on a yacht, Pilates overlooking the water or a morning workout followed by a cold plunge.
They can be an influencer inviting her community to spend a morning exploring beauty, nutrition and self care. They can take the form of sound healing accompanied by a world renowned musician, a wellness market, a beach workout, a zero proof social gathering or a temporary pop up bringing several wellness practices together for a few hours.
This more intimate side of the movement is important.
There is demand for major gatherings where thousands of people can discover what is next, but there is also tremendous appetite for experiences that allow 20, 50 or 100 people to actually talk to one another.
For brands such as Lifeway, both environments create something valuable: the opportunity to meet the people behind the wellness movement rather than simply market to them.
Waterfront Wellness: Turning Wellness Into a Social Ritual
West Palm Beach’s Waterfront Wellness demonstrates how naturally that idea can work.
The recurring gatherings bring people together around workouts, cold plunges and community along the waterfront. Instead of wellness being an appointment squeezed into the day, it becomes the reason people meet.
Lifeway has supported these experiences, offering participants a chance to recharge with kefir after movement and connect with others who share an interest in feeling and living better.
September 13, 2026 | United Beauty Award, Miami
The next chapter arrives in September as wellness continues moving into another enormous lifestyle category: beauty.
The United Beauty Award brings together beauty masters, educators, entrepreneurs and business leaders from around the world, with 42 specialized nominations across Masters, Business and Education.
Beauty itself is changing. Conversations about appearance increasingly overlap with nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, confidence and well-being from within.
Lifeway will join this community in Miami on September 13, connecting with the artists, educators, entrepreneurs and beauty leaders influencing what the industry looks like next.

September 24–26, 2026 | Ultimate Wellness Conference, Faena Forum, Miami Beach
Later in September, one of Florida’s most immersive wellness gatherings returns to the five-story Faena Forum in Miami Beach.
Ultimate Wellness brings together visionary leaders in holistic health, conscious longevity and science-backed innovation while deliberately connecting two powerful sides of wellness: ancient wisdom and cutting-edge longevity science.
The experience extends well beyond speakers and exhibitors. Attendees can move between conversations about longevity and human performance and immersive practices such as meditation, breathwork, somatic bodywork and live sound healing with didgeridoo, gong and handpan.
Experiences including Kama Flight aerial healing and DNA-activation meditations further distinguish the conference from a conventional health expo.
Its most recent three-day conference welcomed more than 1,500 highly engaged attendees, and the event continues to grow.
For Lifeway, Ultimate Wellness represents exactly where the wellness movement is heading: education and innovation combined with experiences that people can actually feel, share and remember.
Lifeway looks forward to joining the community September 24 through 26 and welcoming attendees to experience the brand as part of their time at Faena.

A Brand Growing Alongside the Wellness Community
What is happening in Florida goes beyond the growth of wellness conferences.
It is a change in how people gather.
A wellness experience can now fill a major venue or happen with a few dozen people on a yacht. It can involve longevity technology or simply a yoga mat. It can happen during Swim Week, at a beauty awards ceremony, beside a cold plunge or over a conversation about nutrition.
Lifeway has been bringing communities together since 1986, and as the ways people connect continue to evolve, the brand is evolving with them.
That includes supporting event leaders and visionaries who are building these communities, sometimes becoming one of the early brands they can lean on as they turn an idea into an experience.
And it means being there for the people who attend: sharing Lifeway Kefir, talking about probiotics and gut health, introducing Farmers Cheese as a source of protein and calcium, listening to people’s wellness stories and learning from the communities themselves.
Wellness may be changing where and how people come together, but the most meaningful part remains remarkably consistent: people inspiring other people to live better.

For Lifeway, that is a community worth continuing to nourish.
We Love Your Guts.
