Florida Grand Opera will celebrate its 85th anniversary with a 2026–2027 season featuring four productions, including classics by Gaetano Donizetti, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Giuseppe Verdi. The milestone season continues the company's tradition of presenting world-class opera performances across South Florida.

Lucia di Lammermoor (November 14–17, 2026) — Gaetano Donizetti's beloved bel canto masterpiece follows Lucia, a young woman driven to tragedy by family duty and forbidden love, culminating in one of opera's most celebrated "mad scenes."
Don Giovanni (January 30–February 20, 2027) — Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's timeless drama tells the story of the notorious seducer Don Giovanni, whose reckless pursuit of pleasure ultimately leads to a chilling supernatural reckoning.
Nabucco (April 17–20, 2027) — Giuseppe Verdi's powerful biblical epic explores themes of power, exile, faith, and redemption during the Babylonian conquest of Jerusalem, and features the iconic "Va, pensiero" chorus.
Viva Verdi! The Best of Verdi (May 1, 2027) — A one-night concert celebrating the music of Giuseppe Verdi, featuring Florida Grand Opera's full chorus, orchestra, and international soloists performing highlights from beloved operas including La traviata, Aida, Rigoletto, Nabucco, Il trovatore, and more.
