Florida Grand Opera Launches SCENE Magazine Featuring Tenor Arturo Chacón-Cruz
Florida Grand Opera is set to launch SCENE, its first print magazine, which will debut within weeks as a new platform highlighting the company’s artistic programming and related cultural content.
The publication will feature coverage of culture, fashion, design, travel, and the Florida Grand Opera season program, all presented through the lens of the company’s stage productions.
A key feature of the inaugural issue focuses on tenor Arturo Chacón-Cruz, who returns to Florida Grand Opera as Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor, the role that introduced Luciano Pavarotti to American audiences on the same stage in 1965. Chacón-Cruz, acclaimed at La Scala and the Metropolitan Opera and recognized as GQ Mexico’s Man of the Year, is also active as an entrepreneur and advocate for music education and celiac research.
Throughout the season, Florida Grand Opera plans to share additional stories and messages from artists and creative partners connected to its South Florida stage.
