Florida Grand Opera is preparing to release SCENE, its first print magazine, which will debut within weeks.

The publication will feature coverage of culture, fashion, design, travel and Florida Grand Opera’s season programming, presented through the lens of the company’s stage productions.

One of the inaugural features highlights tenor Arturo Chacón-Cruz, who returns to Florida Grand Opera as Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor, the role that introduced Luciano Pavarotti to American audiences at the company in 1965. Chacón-Cruz has performed at La Scala and the Metropolitan Opera, has been named GQ Mexico’s Man of the Year, runs his own tequila brand and advocates for music education and celiac research.

Throughout the season, SCENE will present additional messages and stories from artists and creative leaders connected to Florida Grand Opera and South Florida’s cultural community.

Businesses interested in appearing in SCENE can contact Florida Grand Opera’s advancement office by email for more information.

Subscriptions to Florida Grand Opera’s season may be purchased through the audience services office or online via the company’s website.
