Florida Grand Opera Launches $8.5 Million Anniversary Campaign
Florida Grand Opera has launched an $8.5 million fundraising initiative, The Power of Zero, to mark its 85th season and expand education, artist development, community engagement, wellness programs, and artistic innovation.

The campaign goal reflects the company’s 85 seasons followed by five zeros, with each zero representing a key area of impact: Education & Access, Artist Development, Community Engagement, Wellness & Resilience, and Artistic Innovation & Legacy.
Members of the organization’s Board have committed more than $400,000 to match gifts this season. Round one of the match runs through November 1, during which every contribution will be doubled until an $85,000 match pool is used, and everyone who donates by Sunday, October 25 will be recognized as a Founding Donor of the 85th season.
Supporters are invited to join The Circle with a recurring monthly contribution or to make single gifts, which can be enhanced through employer matching, donor-advised funds, stock donations, or IRA distributions for donors aged 70 and a half or older.
