Florida Grand Opera is spotlighting its grand-scale productions in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, inviting audiences to experience large-scale sets, costumes, and powerful vocal performances that aim to leave a lasting impression long after each show ends.

The company, which presents classic grand opera alongside contemporary works and new commissions, is encouraging opera-goers to attend upcoming performances that showcase both established artists and emerging talent from its training program.

Founded in 1941 as the Opera Guild of Greater Miami and later merged with the Opera Guild of Fort Lauderdale, Florida Grand Opera operates under the direction of Maria Todaro and continues to serve South Florida audiences as one of the nation’s oldest opera companies.

Through its Florida Grand Opera Studio, the organization trains emerging singers who support world-class artists on stage and perform in the community, expanding access to opera throughout the region.
