Flamenco Festival Miami returns for its 17th edition from February 25 through March 1, 2026, at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. The annual festival will be headlined by Spanish flamenco dancer Sara Baras, who will present Vuela, a tribute to guitarist Paco de LucÃa created in celebration of the 25th anniversary of her dance company.

Baras will perform Vuela on February 28 at 7:30 p.m. and March 1 at 3 p.m. in the Knight Concert Hall. The production features 13 dancers and musicians and is structured around four thematic acts titled Wood, Sea, Death, and Fly. Across 15 individual pieces, the work reflects on legacy, movement, and artistic freedom through flamenco.

Flamenco Festival Miami XVII opens on February 25 with a Live on the Plaza performance by Son Gitano at 7:30 p.m. on the Thomson Plaza for the Arts. The group blends flamenco with Latin and Spanish musical influences, setting the tone for the weekend program.

In advance of each Sara Baras performance, the public is invited to attend the free Flamenco Festival Miami Fiesta, which takes place outdoors on the Thomson Plaza for the Arts beginning two hours before curtain time. The pre-show programming includes live dance, music, workshops, and cultural activities. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Tickets for all festival events are on sale now through the Adrienne Arsht Center website and at the box office. The Arsht Center offers accessible seating, assistive listening devices, and additional accessibility services at select performances.
