The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science will host a series of immersive fulldome screenings at the Frost Planetarium as part of FilmGate Interactive 12: RESONANCE, expanding Miami’s role in international interactive and immersive media.

Running from Wednesday, March 18 through Sunday, March 22 and Tuesday, March 24, the program will present visionary fulldome works by international creators and Miami-based artists projected across the planetarium’s 67-foot dome. Two screenings are scheduled each evening at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., offering multiple opportunities for visitors to experience the blend of art, sound, and technology.

Opening night on Wednesday, March 18 will feature two Miami–Taiwan co-produced dome premieres, preceded by a Taiwanese cocktail reception, along with a special one-night-only immersive work, "The Moment Before: A REPLICA Experience," by Miami-based artist Carlos Fueyo of playard studios.

The initiative is produced by TAICCA (Taiwan Creative Content Agency) as part of its Innovative Co-production Program: Dome Projection, with support from FilmGate Miami and Frost Science. The program brings Taiwanese creative teams to international immersive venues such as the Frost Planetarium to develop and present new fulldome works, including "Temporal Strata" by Ping-Sheng Wu and Jie Liou from FPA Studio and "NEW MODERN TIMES" by Escher Tsai.

Tickets for the Frost Planetarium screenings are available through FilmGate Miami.

Admission to FilmGate Interactive events does not include museum admission, and onsite parking will be offered in the museum garage for a flat rate starting at 6:00 p.m.
