Fifth Annual PINK-O de MAYO Scheduled for April 3, 2025, at Cielo Farms

The PINK-O Charitable Foundation will host its fifth annual PINK-O de MAYO® event on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Cielo Farms in Southwest Ranches, Florida. The event, known as "the party for a purpose," aims to raise funds to support breast cancer patients and women at high risk of the disease.

The event’s popularity has led to its relocation to Cielo Farms this year, where over 350 attendees are expected, including community leaders, philanthropists, and influencers. Proceeds will benefit the Foundation's programs that support breast cancer patients and survivors, as well as initiatives for those at high risk. These funds will also support the Cancer Assessment Risk Evaluation (C.A.R.E.) Clinic in collaboration with the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The event will feature a variety of food from renowned South Florida chefs, specialty cocktails from sponsors like Teremana Tequila and E11EVEN Vodka, and curated experiences. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction and raffle to further support the Foundation’s mission.

Dr. Frank J. Penedo, Director of the Cancer Survivorship Program at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, will be honored during the event. Penedo is recognized for his expertise in cancer survivorship and psychosocial oncology.

In 2024, the PINK-O Charitable Foundation received 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, allowing for tax-deductible donations to further its mission. The Foundation partners with the UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in the region, to provide top-tier cancer care and support.

In 2024, the event raised over $90,000 to support breast cancer patients, survivors, and high-risk individuals, and the Foundation aims to continue its mission with this year’s event.
