FIFA Club World Cup Launches New Era with High-Energy Show on June 14

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ will launch in spectacular style on Saturday, 14 June, with a high-energy Opening Ceremony at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, starting at 19:15 ET. Combining music, culture, and football spirit, the ceremony will kick off the largest and most inclusive club competition in FIFA history with a vibrant tribute to unity and global passion for the game.

Music Meets Football

The show will feature a blend of Latin beats and international rap, curated by Grammy-winning producer Emilio Estefan Jr. Rising stars Vikina and Richaelio will bring unmistakable Miami rhythm and Latin flair to the stage, backed by dancers, drummers, and a powerful live choir.

“This act will celebrate a multicultural sound from around the world,” said Estefan. “We’re welcoming the world to Miami with music, joy and unity.”

Global stars French Montana and Swae Lee will follow with a genre-blending performance, bringing high energy and crossover appeal to a crowd expected to include tens of thousands of fans and a worldwide audience watching live on DAZN.

A Tribute to Unity

The ceremony will culminate in a symbolic display of all 32 club crests, carried onto the pitch by young players representing each competing team. As they assemble, they will spell out “FIFA” in a glowing tribute to unity, inclusion, and the global spirit of the sport. The installation will remain in the U.S. before being transferred to the FIFA Museum in Zurich.

Creative Vision

Produced in partnership with Balich Wonder Studio, the event is themed "A New Era Begins," highlighting football’s global evolution and the power of sport to unite cultures. Marco Balich, Creative Director at Balich Wonder Studio, called the event “a vibrant prelude to a competition where one champion will rise to claim one goal, one dream and eternal glory.”

Match Kick-Off and Tickets

Immediately following the ceremony, the tournament's opening match will see Al Ahly FC face Inter Miami CF. The FIFA Club World Cup will run until 13 July, with 63 matches across 11 U.S. cities, culminating in the final at MetLife Stadium in New York, New Jersey.
