Feeding South Florida Hosts Valentine's Fundraiser: Love in the Kitchen with Chef Chrissy Benoit

Love is in the air and the kitchen! Celebrate Valentine’s Day early with Feeding South Florida® – the leading hunger-relief organization in South Florida. The nonprofit organization will host "Love in the Kitchen" with local Celebrity Chef Chrissy Benoit and Feeding South Florida’s Director of Culinary Services Chef Susan Taves at Feeding Palm Beach County on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The event will feature a cooking class, wine tasting, decadent desserts, raffles, and live entertainment to support Feeding South Florida’s mission to end hunger in South Florida. The evening promises to be more than just a meal; it’s a celebration of great food, fun, and culinary delight.

Chef Benoit has always been passionate about the restaurant, food, and people industry. She has had experience across the board, from 4-star Caribbean resorts to opening restaurants across the nation with acclaimed chef Wolfgang Puck. She emphasizes staff training, development, and concept growth, helping restaurants and resort concepts achieve the best quality experiences for their guests. She monetizes sales through good design and thoughtful purchasing decisions. Chef Benoit also manages projects, both new and with renovations.

Currently, in South Florida, there are over 1.7 million food-insecure individuals, and one in nine individuals in South Florida remains uncertain about where they will get their next meal. All proceeds raised from the event will allow Feeding South Florida to fulfill its mission to end hunger in South Florida by providing immediate access to nutritious food, leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts, and transforming lives through innovative programming and education.
