Feeding South Florida Hosts “Love in the Kitchen” Valentine’s Cooking Event

Feeding South Florida will celebrate Valentine’s Day ahead of schedule with “Love in the Kitchen,” a ticketed cooking class and tasting event set for Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Boynton Beach.

The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at Feeding Palm Beach County and will feature a hands-on cooking class led by local celebrity chef Chrissy Benoit alongside Feeding South Florida’s Director of Culinary Services, Chef Susan Taves. Guests will also enjoy wine tastings, desserts, raffles and live entertainment.

“Love in the Kitchen” is designed to raise funds and awareness for Feeding South Florida, the region’s largest hunger-relief organization. Proceeds from the evening will support efforts to provide access to nutritious food and expand programs aimed at addressing hunger and food insecurity across South Florida.

Chef Benoit brings extensive experience in the culinary industry, with a background that includes working at four-star Caribbean resorts and opening restaurants nationwide alongside chef Wolfgang Puck. Her work focuses on operational development, staff training and improving guest experiences through thoughtful design and purchasing strategies.

According to Feeding South Florida, more than 1.7 million people in the region are food insecure, with one in nine residents unsure where their next meal will come from. Funds raised from the event will help the organization continue its food distribution, advocacy and education initiatives.

Tickets are priced at $150 for individuals and $275 for couples. Additional information and ticket purchases are available through Feeding South Florida’s Love in the Kitchen page.
