Experience the magic of science while supporting underserved communities at our inaugural Family FUNraiser. This special morning is packed with hands-on STEM activities, live shows, and museum exploration, all while supporting the Lotus House, who shelter over 1,550 women, youth and children annually.
Event Programme: A Morning of Interactive Discovery
Science Showdown: Live science demonstrations at 10:30, 11:30, and 12:30 p.m.
Tech Zone: Micro:bit Coding: Light up your name using mini computers.Solar-Powered Bugs: Build and animate a bug with the power of the sun.
Space Zone: Pop-Rockets: Launch a mini rocket with a chemical reaction.Rover to Mars: Navigate a VEX robot across the Martian surface.
Marine Science Zone: Shark Senses: Dive into the unique sensory world of sharks.Turtle STEM Game: Explore sea turtle nesting through interactive play.
Paleo Zone: Fossil Dig: Excavate and identify fossils like a real paleontologist.Microscope Discovery: View microfossils under high-powered scopes.
Kitchen Chemistry: Ice Cream in a Can: Make your own cool treat with this classic science activity.
