Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden Presents Orchids in October
Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is welcoming back its annual fall tradition, "Orchids in October," on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 10901 Old Cutler Road in Coral Gables, Florida.
South Florida orchid growers will gather at the garden to present a curated marketplace featuring rare, unusual, and beginner-friendly plant varieties. Beyond the weekend display, the event highlights conservation work through the Million Orchid Project led by Fairchild orchid biologist Jason Downing, Ph.D. The urban conservation initiative has successfully reintroduced more than 700,000 native orchids across South Florida, working toward a goal of 1 million.
