Fairchild Garden Hosts Boots & Blooms and Moonlight at Fairchild in September
Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden will host two after-hours events in September that invite visitors to experience the garden at night.
On Saturday, September 12, the garden will present Boots & Blooms, a country-themed evening featuring live music from the Back Country Boys, line dancing led by Country Heart Dance Company, bourbon and moonshine tastings, food trucks, and a full bar. The program will also include an apple pie eating contest and a Best Get-Up competition highlighting western wear on the lawn.
Boots & Blooms will take place from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Road in Coral Gables, with general admission tickets starting at $35.95 and available through Fairchild’s website.
Two weeks later, on Friday, September 25, Moonlight at Fairchild will offer one of the few opportunities each year to explore the garden after dark. Scheduled from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. under the Harvest Moon, the evening will feature illuminated garden paths, live music, cocktails, and stargazing through professional telescopes. General admission tickets start at $35.95 and are available on Fairchild’s website.
