Extreme Sports Exhibition Opens at Frost Science in Miami on May 16
The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Miami is opening the interactive exhibition Extreme Sports: Beyond Human Limits on Saturday, May 16, giving visitors a chance to explore the science, psychology, and technology behind some of the world’s most demanding sports.
The exhibition features parkour inspired challenges, climbing equipment displays, and activities that test balance, reaction time, and coordination. Visitors can explore the science of soccer through interactive games while learning how skill, precision, and human performance shape elite athletics.
The exhibition also highlights Miami’s extreme sports culture through collaborations with local organizations such as the Virginia Key Bicycle Club and iFLY Miami. Extreme Sports: Beyond Human Limits will be on view from Saturday, May 16, through Monday, September 7, in the Hsiao Family Special Exhibition Gallery on the museum’s first floor, and admission is included with all museum tickets.
