Extreme Sports Exhibition Closes at Frost Science on Labor Day 2026
The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Miami will conclude its special exhibition, Extreme Sports: Beyond Human Limits, on Monday, September 7, 2026, with extended operating hours on Labor Day.
The exhibition, located in the Hsiao Family Special Exhibition Gallery on the first floor of the museum, examines the science behind some of the world’s most extreme sports, including climbing, parkour, wingsuit flying and freediving. Through interactive experiences and hands-on challenges, visitors explore how physics, biology and psychology shape athletic performance and human limits.
Admission to Extreme Sports: Beyond Human Limits is included with regular museum tickets, and the museum will remain open until 6 p.m. on Labor Day to give visitors additional time to experience the exhibition and other galleries.
The exhibition is presented with support from sponsor iFLY Miami, where Frost Science staff recently participated in an indoor skydiving session to further explore the science of human flight.
