Eat

There is a spectacular food scene, with award-winning restaurants and luxe lounges. The ocean views can really be appreciated at Argentine restaurant, Los Fuegos by renowned chef Francis Mallmann. We always enter from the beach, making sure to pass the iconic gold-gilded wooly mammoth by Damien Hirst. The view while dining is exquisite, with a light sea salt mist. On Sunday’s, they host a “parillada” with delicious barbecued meats. Further along mid-beach, the Cadillac Hotel’s oceanside tiki bar is great for enjoying the beachfront with a more laid-back vibe. There are a mix of locals and tourists mingling in this charming oasis with great cocktails. The Ocean Grill at The Setai is an open-air elevated deck with magnificent views of South Beach’s glittering water. The exotic truffle pizza is a must.

Drink

The happy hour at Eden Roc’s Nobu is one of our favorites, with a great wine selection. We love Soho House’s Picante de la casa made with Casa Dragones tequila, it’s the perfect treat after a full day of showings and deal making. The slight heat and immaculate delivery is truly Miami in a glass.

Live

With so many luxury living options, it should be impossible to pick a favorite, but for us there is one clear standout. The Caribbean, an oceanfront 19-story condo is a highly coveted building with rich history that instantly exudes charm from the moment you see it. When you step inside, you’re greeted by fresh flowers and photos of the 40’s from when it was a hotel. Based on how fantastic the staff is, you would think that it still is one. With an oceanfront heated pool and spa, and world-famous views, the experience is decadent if you’re lucky enough to call it home. Keep an eye out for the highly anticipated arrival of the Aman Hotel and Residences that will be a transformative building for the area.

The Outdoors

The Boardwalk is our favorite way to take in some fresh air and get active. A little microcosm of Miami, you can find interesting people of all ages walking, jogging, biking and rollerblading along the boardwalk at all times. It’s a bustling atmosphere where everyone is welcomed and a fast-paced lifestyle is encouraged.
