Experience Bossa Nova and Samba on Ocean Drive: Free Concert on October 6th
The Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series is back with another installment featuring the renowned Brazilian musical duo, Rose Max and Ramatis. The free outdoor concert will take place on Sunday, October 6th, at 6:00 PM, on the lawn in Lummus Park, between 14th Street and 14th Place. Locals and visitors are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the show.
Rose Max and Ramatis, both originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, have been captivating audiences since they moved to the United States in 1993. Their rich blend of bossa nova and samba has earned them widespread recognition within the Brazilian, Spanish, and American music communities. Over the years, Rose Max has received awards as the best Brazilian singer, while Ramatis has been lauded for his skills as a musician, producer, and arranger.
The performance is part of the ongoing Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series, a weekly event presented by the Ocean Drive Association. Each Sunday, Lummus Park transforms into a vibrant concert space, offering free music performances to the public. If it rains, the concert will be moved to The Betsy Hotel, ensuring the show will go on.
The Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series is generously supported by the City of Miami Beach, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), and the Ocean Drive Association, making it a must-attend cultural experience for the community.
