Eva Longoria leaves her mark on Cannes

On the occasion of the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, Eva Longoria, the renowned actress, director, and producer, graced the handprint ceremony with her presence. Talented and charismatic, the American joins the legendary “Chemin des Étoiles” in Cannes, featuring 450 handprints, including those of Quentin Tarantino, Catherine Deneuve, Spike Lee, Sharon Stone, Tim Burton, Meryl Streep, Sylvester Stallone, among others.

 

On Sunday 19 May 2024, Eva Longoria left an indelible mark on Cannes, marking her lasting influence in the world of cinema. Cannes honours her talent, which has been recognised time and time again at Cannes Lions and MIPCOM, where she shares her expertise in the creative industry.

Eva Longoria began her career with a few television appearances in series such as Beverly Hills 90210, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless. However, it was her role as Gabrielle Solis in the series Desperate Housewives that catapulted her to international stardom. She has also starred in numerous films, including Harsh Times, The Sentinel, and Over Her Dead Body.


In addition to being an accomplished actress, Eva Longoria is a talented producer and director. She has produced and directed several episodes of television series, notably Devious Maids and Telenovela.


Eva Longoria is also an icon in the beauty industry as a spokesperson for L'Oréal Paris. Since joining the brand in 2005, she has become one of the most recognizable faces of L'Oréal, embodying elegance, charisma, and diversity.


Beyond her artistic achievements, Eva Longoria is known for her philanthropic efforts. She founded the Eva Longoria Foundation, which supports education and entrepreneurship for women, and she is actively involved in various causes.
