EoA Group Designs Si Si at The Palms with Coastal Inspiration
Inspired by the relaxed silhouette of a classic floppy beach hat, Si Si at The Palms in Turks & Caicos features a sweeping hand-woven canopy above its elevated pool deck. The coastal venue is the work of Coral Gables-based EoA Group, which handled both the architecture and interior design.
The firm navigated the challenge of constructing a pool bar, a full dining room, and an operating kitchen while maintaining the property's coastal views. The venue design focuses on harmonizing functionality with the surrounding environment.
A secondary woven canopy extends across the deck to conceal mechanical systems. This structure cantilevers around the perimeter to provide shade for the pool lounge and swim-up bar while creating a distinct visual element when viewed from the property's guestroom towers.
The completed hospitality space balances activity and relaxation areas to encourage social interaction and a direct connection to the coastal setting.
