Edgewater Gains The Canvas Bar, a First-Of-Its-Kind Hang-0ut Haven!

The Graspa Group, renowned for its South Florida culinary landmarks like Segafredo, Spris Pizza, Salumeria 104, and Osteria, proudly unveils its latest hotspot: The Canvas Bar.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Edgewater at 1600 NE 1st Avenue, The Canvas Bar is a hangout-haven, offering an globally-inspired comfort cuisine, artisanal cocktails, craft beers and global wines with retro entertainment including vintage arcade games, billiards and foosball, promising a welcomed escape from everyday adulting.

The Canvas Bar is set in a tropical-inspired ambiance, featuring palm-tree patterned wallcoverings, bamboo accents, and vibrant yellow hues that exude a relaxed yet playful ambiance. The 2,750 square-feet indoor dining area features 21 tables, three sofas, and an expansive 12-seat bar where guests can catch live sporting events on eight large flat-screen TVs.

Adjacent to the main dining area lies a laid-back lounge, complete with a pool table and vintage arcade games like Pac-Man and Space Invaders. For those seeking an alfresco experience, the 1,500-square-foot outdoor patio offers the perfect setting under ambient string lights complete with a foosball table.

"We're excited to contribute to the area's development, particularly with the rise of residential buildings. There's a clear demand for a neighborhood hub—a place where everyone can relax over good food and drinks," said General Manager Giuseppe Castiello. "Miami is known for its upscale venues, but we sensed a desire among locals for a more approachable atmosphere. This inspired us to create The Canvas Bar—a welcoming haven for all."

From savory starters to juicy burgers, crisp salads, and authentic Roman-style flatbreads (known as Pinsas), each dish delivers flavor-forward nostalgia. Notable starters include the Pulled Pork Bao Buns ($12), served with a hot honey sauce, and the Fried Mozzarella Pearls ($9), topped with marinara sauce. The menu also features a variety of handheld sandwiches and burger options, such as the Angus Burger ($16) and the signature Canvas Breaded Chicken Sandwich ($14). The Pinsas, or Roman-style flatbreads, offer a slice of shareable heaven, with options like the Truffle Mushroom Ricotta ($18) and Prosciutto ($20). For heartier appetites, the Fork & Knife section boasts signature plates like the Baby Back Ribs ($20 half rack, $29 full rack) and Homemade Lasagna Bolognese ($15).

Complementing the menu is a wide selection of signature and classic cocktails, brews, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages. Signature $12 sips include the Limoncello Margarita, featuring Don Julio Tequila, Limoncello, basil, and crushed Lemon Heads, and the Pistachio Key Lime Martini, made with Grey Goose Vodka, Amaretto Di Saronno white, pistachio cream, and lime.
